Choosing a cleaning service starts with two questions: How is your home looking now, and which areas need attention? Standard cleaning helps you keep up with everyday household cleaning. Deep cleaning includes additional detail work for areas that need more attention.
What does Standard cleaning include?
Standard cleaning focuses on regular upkeep: vacuuming and mopping floors, cleaning kitchen counters and the stovetop, cleaning bathroom fixtures, wiping mirrors, and emptying trash. It also includes the microwave’s interior and exterior, light dusting of blinds, and light dusting or wiping of window sills and frames.
If your home is generally well maintained but the bathrooms, floors, and kitchen need regular attention, Standard may be a good fit.
What does Deep cleaning add?
Deep cleaning includes the Standard tasks plus details such as:
- Removing cobwebs and cleaning light switches
- Dusting reachable ceiling fans and vents
- Cleaning kitchen and bathroom cabinet exteriors
- Hand-wiping and detailing baseboards
- Dusting doors and door frames in the rooms listed on our checklist
If you’re keeping up with counters and floors but dust has collected on fans and baseboards, or cabinet fronts need attention, Deep may better match your priorities. These additional tasks generally take longer than routine maintenance.
Which tasks are quoted separately?
Oven, refrigerator, freezer, and kitchen-cabinet interiors are quoted separately. Detailed blind cleaning and inside-window cleaning are also separate extras. Light dusting doesn’t include individually wiping blind slats or detailing window glass and tracks.
Baseboard detailing is included in Deep and available as an add-on to Standard. If your main extra priority is the inside of your oven, ask about Standard plus that add-on rather than choosing a service by its name alone.
Does the first visit need to be a Deep clean?
A first appointment doesn’t automatically require Deep cleaning. The right choice depends on your home’s condition and the tasks you want completed. A well-maintained home may be ready for Standard, while a home with several neglected detail areas may benefit from Deep.
Afterward, choose a schedule that fits your household. Every two weeks can work well when you want regular help and can manage light upkeep between visits. Recurring appointments can be Standard or Deep; frequency doesn’t change what each service includes.
Before booking, tell us which areas matter most and any extras you want. Review our Standard and Deep cleaning checklists, or request a free quote so we can match the service to your home.
